Bakery/Deli Clerks should offer samples to help customers discover new items or inquire about products. Grocery Clerks should inform customers of specials and ensure fresh, properly portioned products to prevent shrinkage. They should recommend items, operate equipment safely, prepare foods per guidelines, and maintain inventory and quality standards. Staff should be knowledgeable about products, maintain safety and food regulations, and foster a welcoming environment for customers. They must also manage conflicts, act with integrity, and support vulnerable populations. All duties should be performed with or without reasonable accommodations.
