Job Responsibilities:

  • Offer product samples to help customers discover new items.
  • Inform customers of bakery and deli specials.
  • Provide customers with fresh products, ensuring correct portions to prevent shrinkage.
  • Recommend items to customers based on their preferences.
  • Use bakery equipment according to guidelines.
  • Prepare foods following safety and temperature standards.
  • Measure, mix, and prepare ingredients as per recipes.
  • Package, label, and inventory ingredients and products.
  • Check product quality and review 'sell by' dates.
  • Properly use kitchen equipment like slicers, ovens, and scales.
  • Label, stock, and inventory merchandise.
  • Report discrepancies in product ordering or shipping.
  • Understand store layout to assist customers efficiently.
  • Stay updated on current and upcoming promotions.
  • Maintain knowledge of products and respond to customer inquiries.
  • Monitor inventory levels and conditions.
  • Ensure proper storage temperatures and maintain logs.
  • Promote trust and respect among team members.
  • Create a welcoming environment for customers.
  • Adhere to food safety and safety procedures.
  • Identify and report unsafe conditions or equipment issues.
