  • Offering product samples to help customers discover new items.
  • Informing customers of bakery and deli specials.
  • Providing customers with ordered products and correct portions to prevent shrinkage.
  • Recommending deli or bakery items based on customer needs.
  • Using bakery equipment according to guidelines.
  • Preparing foods following temperature logs and cooking instructions.
  • Measuring, preparing, and mixing ingredients as per recipes.
  • Packaging, labeling, and inventorying ingredients.
  • Checking product quality and freshness, reviewing sell-by dates.
  • Using kitchen equipment properly.
  • Labeling, stocking, and inventorying merchandise.
  • Reporting discrepancies in product ordering/shipping.
  • Knowing store layout to assist customers efficiently.
  • Staying current with ads and promotions.
  • Maintaining product knowledge to assist customers effectively.
  • Monitoring inventory and stock conditions.
  • Ensuring proper temperature controls and logs.
