We are looking for a dedicated Bakery/Deli Clerk to create an outstanding customer experience through exceptional service. Your responsibilities will include establishing and maintaining a safe and clean environment, assisting the department manager in reaching sales and profit goals, and monitoring quality assurance standards. Responsibilities

1. Prepare bakery and deli items according to customer requests using proper equipment.
2. Offer product samples to customers to promote new or inquire about products.
3. Inform customers about bakery and deli specials.
4. Provide customers with fresh products and correct portions to prevent shrinkage.
5. Recommend bakery or deli items to ensure customer satisfaction.
6. Use bakery equipment such as refrigerators, freezers, slicers, and ovens according to company guidelines.
7. Follow food safety and temperature logs, and prepare foods following cooking instructions.
8. Measure, prepare, and mix ingredients using appropriate utensils and equipment.
9. Label, package, and inventory ingredients and merchandise accurately.
10. Check product quality and review 'sell by' dates.
11. Maintain proper temperatures in cases and coolers, and keep logs updated.
12. Maintain inventory and stock levels, and report discrepancies.
13. Create a welcoming environment for customers and answer product-related questions.
14. Adhere to safety and food safety regulations and guidelines.
15. Inspect equipment regularly and report any issues.
16. Work cooperatively in a high-paced environment and manage conflicts professionally.
17. Act with honesty and integrity, respecting customer and business information.
18. Support and assist diverse customers, including minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
19. Perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
