Bakery/Deli Clerk (Finance)

Essential Job Functions:
  • Prepare bakery and deli items per customer requests using proper equipment.
  • Offer product samples and inform customers of specials.
  • Ensure products are fresh, correctly portioned, and properly labeled.
  • Use bakery equipment following safety guidelines.
  • Follow recipes, prepare ingredients, and maintain inventory.
  • Check product quality and review "sell by" dates.
  • Maintain store layout knowledge and assist customers with product location.
  • Stay updated on promotions and product knowledge.
  • Maintain proper temperatures and safety standards.
  • Promote a welcoming environment and ensure safety procedures are followed.
  • Report discrepancies, accidents, and unsafe conditions.
  • Work cooperatively in a high-paced environment, managing conflicts professionally.
  • Act with honesty and integrity, following directions and assisting customers and colleagues.
  • Support minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
