Job Responsibilities:
  • Offer product samples to help customers discover new items.
  • Inform customers of bakery and deli specials.
  • Provide customers with fresh products ordered, ensuring correct portion sizes.
  • Recommend deli or bakery items to customers.
  • Operate bakery equipment according to guidelines.
  • Prepare foods following recipes and safety standards.
  • Measure, prepare, and mix ingredients.
  • Package, label, and inventory ingredients and products.
  • Check product quality and review sell-by dates.
  • Use kitchen equipment safely and properly.
  • Label, stock, and inventory merchandise.
  • Report discrepancies in product ordering/shipping.
  • Locate products and respond to customer inquiries.
  • Stay current with store promotions and product knowledge.
  • Maintain inventory and temperature logs.
  • Promote a respectful and welcoming environment for customers and staff.
  • Adhere to food safety and safety procedures.
  • Inspect equipment and report repairs.
  • Notify management of accidents or unsafe conditions.
  • Work cooperatively in a high-paced environment.
  • Manage conflicts constructively.
  • Act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information.
