Responsibilities

• Grocery Clerk (Bakery/Deli) prepares items per customer requests using bakery equipment.
• Offer product samples to help customers discover items.
• Inform customers of bakery/deli specials and promotions.
• Provide customers with fresh products and correct portion sizes to prevent shrink.
• Recommend deli or bakery items to meet customer needs.
• Operate bakery equipment (refrigerators, slicers, ovens) per guidelines.
• Prepare foods following recipes and temperature logs.
• Label, stock and inventory department merchandise.
• Maintain product temperatures and cleanliness to ensure safety.
• Assist customers and respond to product questions with knowledge of offerings.
