Qualifications

• High school Diploma or GED required or preferred.
• Six months or more related bakery experience preferred.
• Ability to develop creative designs on baked goods and work with decorating tools.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, ice, and decorates cakes and other baked goods for display or customer requests.
• Trace and copy drawings onto cakes using templates or free-hand sketches.
• Identify, match, and blend icing colors; judge colors, texture, aroma, and taste.
• Select decorating materials and tools; make quick decisions under time pressure.
• Clean, assemble, and prepare equipment; check working order under supervision.
• Maintain safety and sanitation standards; greet customers and promote sales.
