Job summary

Sam's Club in Lake Charles, LA is seeking a Cake Decorator to deliver member service in the bakery area. You will work with teammates to ensure the club meets member expectations and maintain production quality and food safety standards.

You will plan decorations, use decorating bags and nozzles, and leverage handheld tools to drive sales and improve the shopping experience for members. This role also involves supporting seasonal events and mentoring others in a team-focused environment.

Qualifications

• 6 months' Experience In Fresh Production Area.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• I acknowledge that the position for which I am applying requires me to successfully complete all job required trainings and assessments within a prescribed time period if I receive the position.

Responsibilities

• Be a Team Member - collaborates with cross functional teams and educates associates on tools, tasks and resources, and provides customer service.
• Be an Expert - plans bakery productions, ensures consistency in quality and decorative designs, uses decorating bags and tips to create flowers and lettering.
• Be a Techie - leverages digital tools to drive sales and improve the shopping experience with handheld technology.
• Be an Owner - drives bakery performance, ensures quality and date control, reduces waste and prepares for seasonal events.
• Be a Talent Ambassador - models high quality service, trains and inspires others in a respectful, team-oriented style.
• Complies with policies and ethics, applies action plans and Open Door Policy in operations.
