Job summary

You will assist the department manager in meeting sales goals, stock ingredients, label products, handle inventory, and follow safety and quality standards to ensure freshness. Excellent communication, basic math, and a willingness to obtain a food handler permit after employment are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Bakery Clerk will prepare items per customer requests using proper bakery equipment.
• Bakery Team Member should offer product samples to help customers discover new items or products they inquire about.
• Bakery Clerk will be able to inform customers of bakery specials.
• Provide customers with fresh products that they have ordered and the correct portion size.
• Label, stock and inventory department merchandise.
• Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines.
