Job summary

Kroger Bakery is seeking a team player to create outstanding customer experiences in a fast-paced grocery environment. You will assist in bakery item preparation, respond to customer inquiries, and ensure safety and quality standards are met throughout shifts.

Responsibilities include operating bakery equipment, labeling and stocking products, and maintaining freshness. A food handler permit is required upon employment and strong communication skills are essential to succeed in this role.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist bakery department by preparing items per customer orders.
• Explain products and answer customer questions to drive sales.
• Operate and clean bakery equipment following safety procedures.
• Label, stock and inventory bakery merchandise and maintain fresh product quality.
• Follow temperature logs and food safety guidelines at all times.
• Monitor shelf life and manage inventory to reduce waste.
• Provide friendly, helpful service to ensure a positive shopping experience.
