Job summary

The Merc Co+op in Lawrence, KS is seeking a Bakery Cooperator to join our small, dedicated team. You will prepare, bake and package muffins, scones, pies, breads and cookies according to established recipes while delivering friendly, helpful service to shoppers.

This entry-level role requires reliability and willingness to learn; training is provided. You will work with department Specialists and Managers, gain knowledge of products, promotions and cooperative ownership, and help maintain safe,

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with department Specialists to complete daily tasks.

• Assist with training of new staff.
• Assist in ordering, inventory and other duties as assigned.
• Maintain knowledge of cooperative ownership and products.
• Stay informed about promotions and ads.
• Work weekends and holidays.
• Report to work on time.
