Job summary

The Merc Co+op is seeking a Grocery Cooperator FT (Early AM Receiving) in Lawrence, KS. You will support daily grocery operations, process transactions, assist with receiving, stocking, and maintaining clean, safe customer areas.

Ideal candidates bring dependable work history, adaptability, and a proactive approach to safety and teamwork. Weekend and holiday availability is preferred as part of our cooperative schedule.

• Ability to read written and interpret verbal or demonstrated instructions; write identifying information and make requests verbally or in writing.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with department Specialists to execute daily tasks within the department including opening, mid, and closing duties as assigned.
• Provide exceptional, prompt and friendly service in person and over the phone.
• Comply with safety procedures and identify unsafe conditions; report all safety risks to store management.
