Job summary

Fiesta Mart in Plano, Texas, is seeking a Bakery Clerk (ages 16-17) at Store 059 Plano. The role supports customer service, bakery sales, and order handling in a fast-paced grocery environment.

The position involves assisting customers, stocking and cleaning the bakery area, and collaborating with the Baker on orders or decorations. A Food Handler Card is required, with physical duties including lifting and standing. EEO statements apply.

Qualifications

• Read and write Spanish/English, interact with general public and co-workers.
• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 45 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 60 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service in the Bakery department.
• Assist customers with bakery purchases and special orders.
• Clean, stock, and rotate bakery displays and shelves.
• Coordinate with Baker to determine items to bake or decorate and assist with setup.
• Maintain department cleanliness and assist with floor/hose-down cleaning as required.
