Job summary

Fiesta Mart Store 059 Plano is seeking a Bakery Clerk under the Bakery Manager to provide friendly customer service, assist with bakery purchases and special orders, and help maintain clean displays and shelves. This role supports the bakery team in daily operations within a fast-paced grocery environment.

The position requires the ability to lift items, read product labels, and communicate in Spanish and English with customers and staff. Food handler certification may be required.

Qualifications

• Read and write Spanish/English, interact with the general public and co‑workers.
• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, shelf tags, and short memos.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Effectively present information to customers and employees.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with bakery purchases and special orders.
• Clean shelves and display cases; rotate self-serve displays.
• Work with the Baker to determine items to bake or decorate.
• Assist in department cleaning and ensuring bakery area is sanitary.
