As a Bakery Clerk, you'll prepare fresh baked goods, provide outstanding customer service, and help create a clean, organized bakery environment customers love. We offer weekly pay, flexible scheduling, on-the-job training, and growth opportunities in retail and food service.

Qualifications

• Previous bakery, cake decorating, food service, or retail experience preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Basic math and cash handling skills.
• Ability to follow recipes, food safety, and sanitation procedures.
• Willingness to learn bakery equipment and operations.
• Flexible availability (days, evenings, weekends, holidays).

Responsibilities

• Prepare, bake, and package bakery products according to recipes and quality standards.
• Decorate and display finished bakery items.
• Assist customers with orders, including special orders and product recommendations.
• Maintain food safety, sanitation, and freshness standards.
• Rotate stock and monitor inventory using FIFO procedures.
• Operate bakery equipment including ovens, proofers, and mixers.
• Operate cash register (POS) and handle transactions accurately.
• Support promotions, upselling, and bakery displays.
• Maintain a clean, organized bakery and food prep area.
