Availability Required: Must be able to work between 8:00 am and 10:00 pm during weekdays and weekends.

Job Summary

Proofs and bakes all unfinished bakery goods by following product handling instructions using ovens and other equipment. Unpacks bakery goods from the freezer and displays appropriate amounts based on production charts, including safe handling and storage. Maintains cleanliness and safety standards within the bakery.

Club Standards: Work as a team to meet GOLD standards daily, including maintaining a grand opening look, stocking all items, executing promotional plans, and keeping the store clean and organized.

Major Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Answer questions and recommend bakery items; handle calls and special orders
• Proof and bake bakery goods following safety and handling policies
• Decorate special orders and case products
• Rotate and store bakery products properly, ensuring freshness and quality
• Receive, inspect, and store shipments according to policies
• Ensure all products meet quality standards and are accurately labeled and priced
• Clean and sanitize equipment and surfaces regularly
• Operate bakery equipment safely
• Maintain club policies and perform other duties as assigned
• Attend full, predictable attendance is essential

Qualifications:

• Experience in bakery or customer service preferred
• Knowledge of bakery products preferred
• Must be at least 18 years old

Environmental Conditions:

• Mostly moving on non-hard surfaces; occasional bending, reaching, and handling
• Ability to lift objects up to 30 pounds frequently; heavier objects with assistance
• Indoor environment with exposure to temperature extremes from freezers, ovens, and coolers
• Possible exposure to cleaning agents

Salary range: $16.75 - $20.10, based on location, experience, and qualifications.
