Job Summary
Prepare bakery items by proofing and baking all bakery goods according to production charts, ensuring safe handling and storage. Maintain cleanliness and safety standards within the bakery department.

Major Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Answer questions and recommend bakery items; handle member calls and special orders.
- Proof and bake bakery goods following product handling info and production charts; prepare for the next day.
- Package baked goods and display appropriately; unpack and display frozen bakery items based on production charts.
- Decorate special orders or case products.
- Rotate and store bakery products following safety and freshness policies.
- Inspect, receive, and store shipments, ensuring quality and freshness.
- Generate labels and price tickets; ensure accurate pricing.
- Clean and sanitize bakery equipment and surfaces.
- Operate bakery equipment safely and properly.
- Adhere to all club policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned, including working in other departments.
- Maintain regular, full attendance.
Qualifications:
- Experience in bakery or customer service preferred.
- Knowledge of bakery products preferred.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
Environmental Conditions:
- Mostly moving on non-hard surfaces; occasional bending, reaching, and handling.
- Lift objects up to 30 pounds frequently; heavier objects with assistance.
- Indoor environment with exposure to temperature extremes from freezers, ovens, and coolers.
- Possible exposure to cleaning agents.
In accordance with Pay Transparency laws, the estimated pay range for this position is $16.75-$20.10, depending on location, experience, and qualifications.
