Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide friendly service at the bakery counter.
• Assist customers with locating products, reaching items, and taking orders.
• Review daily orders and monitor freshness and supply levels throughout shifts.
• Prepare and replenish baked goods; pull products from cooler/freezer as needed.
• Maintain sanitation and keep the work area clean and organized.
• Check in and stock products, and review invoices when needed.
• Operate the bakery register to process payments.
• Remove trash and keep the department tidy.
• Collaborate with teammates to ensure a smooth customer experience.
• Adhere to Hy-Vee dress code, hygiene standards, and policies.
• Assist in other store areas and take on special projects as needed.
