ShopRite of Hainesport in New Jersey is seeking a Bakery Clerk to support the Bakery Manager with daily operations, pricing, stocking and rotating merchandise. The role emphasizes delivering a great customer experience in a fast-paced retail environment.

You will maintain a neat, safe department, handle food items per QA standards, and assist with signage, restocking, and customer service. The position requires ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work flexible hours, including overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Must read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Able to perform basic math.
• Able to lift 25–50 lbs and work in varying temperatures.
• Able to handle food and comply with sanitation standards.
• Able to interact with customers in a friendly, helpful manner.
• Able to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized bakery area.
• Greet customers and provide prompt service.
• Rotate and stock bakery products and ensure accurate signage.
• Assist Bakery Manager with daily operations and pricing.
