Job summary

ShopRite of Williamstown is seeking a Bakery Clerk to assist the Bakery Manager in daily operations, pricing, stocking and rotating merchandise. The role supports delivering a great customer experience in a busy department and maintaining a neat, clean and visually appealing area.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, ensuring accurate signage, rotating stock, and following all safety, QA and company policies. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work varied schedules as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Able to perform basic math.
• Able to stand, bend, twist, reach, push, pull and lift 25 lbs., up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
• Able to work in varying temperatures.
• Able to interact with customers in a friendly, helpful way.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, neat, organized and safe work environment.
• Greet customers and provide prompt, courteous service.
• Rotate products to ensure freshness and proper signage.
• Assist Bakery Manager with pricing, stocking and display.
• Follow safety, QA and company policies at all times.
• Work overtime as needed and cooperate with teammates.
