You will assist the Bakery Manager, maintain cleanliness, handle orders, and ensure pricing accuracy. The role requires 1–2 years bakery experience, a HS diploma, and flexibility for nights, weekends, and holidays. This position offers competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a HS diploma or equivalent; 1–2 years bakery experience.
• Dependable with the ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Outgoing and friendly demeanor with the ability to interact with customers.
• Good communication skills; able to take direction and work in a team.
• Able to answer phones and take special orders.
• Perform general housekeeping and sanitize the department area.
• Able to operate knives, scales, wrappers, compactors, and hand trucks.
• Able to stand for extended periods and lift items as needed.
• Adhere to safety, health, and Weights and Measures regulations; Food Handlers permit.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and package all baked goods.
• Assist Bakery Manager in preparing, baking, packaging, pricing, and merchandising.
• Provide high level of customer service and ensure proper preparation, packaging, and presentation.
• Maintain clean, safe, and sanitary bakery area and equipment.
• Stock, fill, face, and ensure pricing; rotate products and discard outdated items.
• Receive and inspect products for shipment accuracy, temperature, and quality.
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment and contribute to the team.
