Job summary

Lees Marketplace is seeking a Bakery Clerk to assist with the operation and presentation of our Bakery department. You will help produce, package, label, and display bakery items while engaging guests in person, over the phone, or online.

Ideal candidates have prior retail or guest service experience, strong communication, and a willingness to learn product knowledge. The role supports a fast-paced store environment and emphasizes friendly, efficient guest interactions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Previous experience in retail or guest service (preferred).
• Previous specialty cheese experience (preferred).
• Drive.

Responsibilities

• Help production, development, preparation, and maintenance of Bakery items.
• Assist in displaying and restocking Bakery products.
• Maintain accurate food inventories.
• Educate customers about bakery products and services.
• Attend trainings and use digital platforms for ongoing education.
