Job summary

BJ's Wholesale Club in Clearwater, FL is seeking a Bakery Associate to support daily bakery operations, proof and bake items, and ensure safe, fresh, and attractively displayed bakery goods for members.

You'll deliver friendly service, handle special orders, restock displays, follow food safety policies, and work with the team to keep the bakery area clean, organized, and ready for the club's busy days.

Responsibilities

• Answers questions and makes recommendations on bakery items.
• Answers member calls and takes special orders.
• Proofs and bakes all unfinished bakery goods following item handling information using ovens and equipment.
• Uses bakery production charts as a guide for production and display needs.
• Gathers products for next business day preparation.
• Packages freshly baked goods (cookies, pastries, muffins, rolls, breads, pies, cakes).
• Unpacks bakery goods and displays according to production chart recommendations.
• Decorates special orders or case products.
• Rotates and stores bakery products per food safety and freshness policies.
