Job summary

BJ's Wholesale Club in Tampa, FL is seeking a friendly Bakery Associate to assist with daily production, display, and customer service in the bakery department.

You will proof and bake items, package goods, decorate special orders, and ensure freshness and safety. Requires at least 18 years old and bakery or customer service experience; knowledge of bakery products is preferred. Compensation starts at $16.25 per hour and includes benefits in a team-centered environment.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Answer questions and take special orders.
• Proof and bake unfinished bakery goods per product handling information.
• Package freshly baked goods and display them.
• Decorate special orders or case items.
• Rotate and store bakery products per safety policies.
• Ensure products are fresh and meet quality standards.
• Generate price labels and ensure accurate pricing.
• Clean and sanitize bakery equipment and surfaces.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
