Job summary

Chedraui USA's North Hollywood bakery is hiring a Bakery Clerk (#5 North Hollywood). Starting rate is $18.47 per hour, with duties serving customers, assisting with bakery purchases and special orders.

You'll maintain clean displays, assist the baker on items to bake or decorate, and support department cleaning. The role requires reading simple instructions and lifting up to 60 pounds; a Food Handler Card is required.

Qualifications

• Basic PC/Outlook skills required.
• Retail Management Certificate required.
• Food Handler Card or equivalent certification required for food-related roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service at the bakery.
• Assist customers with bakery purchases and special orders.
• Clean shelves, display cases, and self-serve displays.
• Work with the Baker to determine items to be baked or decorated.
• Assist with department cleaning, including floors.
• Lift up to 25 lbs regularly; up to 60 lbs occasionally.
