Chedraui USA is hiring a Bakery Clerk for the El Super store in Fresno. You’ll assist customers with bakery items, keep displays clean, and support the bakery team with special orders and decorations. The role requires basic PC/Outlook skills and physical ability to lift up to 60 pounds.

Starting at $16.90 per hour, this position offers opportunities to learn, grow with the team, and participate in standard store operations and safety procedures.

Qualifications

Starting Rate: $16.90 per hour

What You’ll Do

• Provide friendly, courteous, and helpful service to customers for bakery purchases.
• Clean shelving, display cases, and self‑serve displays in front of the store and adjacent to the bakery.
• Assist customers with special orders and collaborate with the baker on items that may need to be baked or decorated.
• Help with department cleaning, hosing down floors with soap and water to maintain cleanliness.

Physical requirements: lift up to 60 pounds (regularly 25–45, occasionally 60 pounds), stand, walk, kneel; visual and auditory requirements. Food Handler Card or equivalent certification required.
