Job summary

Qualifications

• Food Handler Card or its equivalent certification is required for all positions related to preparation, handling and serving food.
• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, shelf tags and memos.
• Write simple correspondence and communicate with customers and team members.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service in the bakery area.
• Assist customers with bakery purchases and special orders.
• Clean, stock, and rotate displays and shelves in the bakery section.
• Collaborate with the baker to determine items to bake or decorate and support cleanliness.
• Assist with department cleaning and safety procedures.
