Job summary

Foodland Super Market, Ltd, a Hawaii-based grocer with over 75 years in the community, is hiring a Bakery Clerk in Kihei. This hourly position focuses on bakery preparation, merchandising, and friendly customer service.

You will bake, price, package, and display bakery items, inform customers about products, and help promote samples and weekly specials. The store uses ovens, proofers, and intercoms for promotions.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school education preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be able to frequently lift, maneuver and/carry up to 50 pounds.
• Must have TB Clearance.
• Must comply with all company policies and requirements.

Pay: $16.88/Hour

Bakery Clerks are responsible but are not limited to the below:

• preparing, baking, packaging, pricing, and merchandising cakes, pies, rolls, muffins, breads and other baked goods
• inform customers about our bakery products and services
• often ask customers to try samples of bakery products as a way to increase sales.
• They work with equipment like ovens, proofers and frequently use store intercoms to announce promotions and weekly specials
