Job summary

Foodland Super Market, Ltd in Hawai`i is seeking Bakery Clerks for an hourly position in Honolulu. Responsibilities include preparing, baking, packaging, pricing and merchandising baked goods, while informing customers about products and services.

Employees will use ovens and proofers and may announce promotions with store intercoms. Candidates should be 18+, with a preferred high school education and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds; TB clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school education preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be able to frequently lift, maneuver and/carry up to 50 pounds.
• Must have TB Clearance.
• Must comply with all company policies and requirements.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, bake, package, price and merchandise cakes, pies, rolls, muffins, breads and other baked goods.
• Inform customers about bakery products and services.
• Ask customers to try samples to increase sales.
• Work with ovens, proofers and use store intercoms to announce promotions and weekly specials.
