Job summary

Foodland Super Market, Ltd is seeking Bakery Clerks to prepare, bake, package, price and merchandize a variety of bakery items on Hawai'i Island. Evening and weekend availability is strongly preferred and relocation is not provided.

The position is hourly, with a comprehensive benefits package and duties that include customer engagement, sample offers, and maintaining product displays.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school education preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be able to frequently lift, maneuver and/carry up to 50 pounds.
• Must have TB Clearance.
• Must comply with all company policies and requirements.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, bake, package, price and merchandize cakes, pies, rolls, muffins, breads and other baked goods.
• Inform customers about bakery products and services.
• Encourage customers to sample bakery items to increase sales.
• Operate ovens and proofers and use store intercoms to announce promotions and weekly specials.

Bakery Clerks are responsible but are not limited to the below:

• preparing, baking, packaging, pricing, and merchandising cakes, pies, rolls, muffins, breads and other baked goods
