Overview

If so, we need YOU to join our team at Sprouts Farmers Market as a Bakery Clerk!

Responsibilities

1. Assist the Bakery Manager with preparing, baking, packaging, pricing, and merchandising baked goods.
2. Provide high-level customer service, ensuring bakery items are properly prepared, packaged, presented, and the area remains clean.
3. Maintain cleanliness and safety of the bakery area and equipment, including cleaning shelves, floors, and removing debris.
4. Stock, fill, face, and ensure pricing accuracy; monitor product rotation and discard outdated items.
5. Inspect and log shipments for accuracy, temperature, and quality.
6. Thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent, and 1-2 years of bakery experience or a relevant combination of education and experience.
• Dependable with flexible scheduling, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Outgoing, friendly, positive attitude, and good communication skills.
• Ability to answer phones and take special orders.
• Perform housekeeping duties and operate equipment like knives, scales, wrappers, etc.
• Stand for up to 8 hours, lift trays up to 5 lbs., and transfer items up to 40 lbs. as needed.
• Adhere to safety, health, and regulatory standards, maintaining a Food Handlers permit.

Compensation & Benefits

The hourly pay range is $18.15 - $23.60, based on experience and qualifications.
