Big Y Foods, Inc. is seeking a Bakery Clerk in Stafford Springs, CT to deliver exceptional customer service while preparing and stocking bakery items. You will maintain product quality, ensure cleanliness, and support food safety standards in a fast-paced retail bakery.

The role involves assisting customers with product information, operating within store policies, and being willing to learn other areas as needed. A flexible schedule and adherence to company standards are required.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of bakery products.
• Ability to handle cash transactions and operate a register.
• Understanding of food safety standards and cleanliness in a retail bakery.

Location:STAFFORD SPRINGS,CT(87 WEST STAFFORD ROAD)

The Bakery Clerk is responsible for providing an exceptional customer experience by preparing and ensuring the freshest quality product. The Bakery Clerk maintains department conditions, to include preparing, stocking and serving Bakery products. They also maintain food safety standards and cleanliness in the Bakery department and handle customer inquiries while providing product knowledge.

• Ability to operate within company policies, procedures, and standards.
• Willingness to cross train and learn other areas as needed.

• Must be 18 years of age to operate machinery (refer to minor guidelines where appropriate).
