North State Grocery is seeking a Deli/ Bakery Associate to provide world famous friendly customer service and support daily operations. Responsibilities include making sandwiches, slicing meat, baking, salads, stocking, cleaning, labeling, and maintaining deli sanitation.

Ideal candidates can follow written and verbal instructions, multitask, manage time well, and lift up to 45 pounds while standing for long periods in a busy market environment.

Responsibilities

• Using the oven for baking bakery product.
• Making salads & maintaining throughout the day.
• Stocking freezer and walk-in.
• Stocking bakery tables, cheese case and HMR case.
• Cleaning to maintain sanitary conditions.
• Product knowledge.
• Entering information into deli scales & bakery printers.
• Detailed cleaning of entire bakery deli department.
• Cleaning the rotisserie with authorized oven cleaner.
• Packaging.
• General clean up.
• Be aware of surroundings and working safe.
• Abide by all company policies as stated in the employee handbook.

To Provide World Famous Friendly Customer Service to Customers, Team Members & Outside Vendors. Production, Wrapping, Weighing, Pricing, Merchandising, Cleaning, Sanitation, Stocking, Putting Loads Away, Organizing Freezers & Walk-In Refrigerators.
