Job summary

North State Grocery in Weaverville, CA is seeking a deli/bakery associate to provide world famous friendly customer service and perform production, wrapping, weighing, pricing, merchandising and stocking tasks. The role includes operating the deli scales, bakery printers, and maintaining sanitary conditions throughout the department.

The position involves standing for long periods, lifting up to 45 pounds, and following written and verbal instructions while upholding company policies and safety

Responsibilities

• Stocking bakery tables, cheese case and HMR case.
• Using cleaning products to maintain sanitary conditions.
• Product knowledge.
• Entering information into deli scales and bakery printers.
• Detailed cleaning of entire bakery deli department.
• Cleaning the rotisserie with authorized oven cleaner.
• Packaging.
• General clean up.
• Be aware of surroundings and working safe.
• Abide by all company policies as stated in the employee handbook.
