Overview

If so, we need YOU to join our team at Sprouts Farmers Market as a Bakery Clerk!

Responsibilities

1. Assist the Bakery Manager in preparing, baking, packaging, pricing, and merchandising baked goods.
2. Provide high-quality customer service, ensuring bakery items are properly prepared, packaged, presented, and the area remains clean.
3. Maintain cleanliness and safety in the bakery area and equipment, including cleaning shelves, floors, and removing debris.
4. Stock, fill, face, and ensure pricing accuracy; monitor product rotation and discard outdated items.
5. Receive, inspect, and log shipments for accuracy, temperature, and quality.
6. Thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent; 1-2 years bakery experience preferred.
• Dependable with flexible scheduling including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Outgoing, friendly, positive attitude, and good communication skills.
• Ability to answer phones, take orders, and perform housekeeping duties.
• Ability to operate bakery equipment and handle physical tasks, including standing for long periods and lifting up to 40 lbs.
• Adhere to safety, health, and regulatory standards, including obtaining a Food Handlers permit.

Additional Information

Pay range: $16.15 - $21.00/hour, based on experience and qualifications.
