If so, we need YOU to join our team at Sprouts Farmers Market as a Bakery Clerk!

Responsibilities

• Assist the Bakery Manager in preparing, baking, packaging, pricing, and merchandising all baked goods.
• Provide high-level customer service, ensure bakery items are properly prepared, packaged, and presented, and maintain cleanliness of the bakery area.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary bakery environment, including cleaning shelves, floors, and equipment.
• Stock, fill, face, and ensure accurate pricing; monitor product rotation and discard outdated items.
• Inspect and log shipments for accuracy, temperature, and quality.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent, and 1-2 years bakery experience or equivalent education/experience.
• Dependable with a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Outgoing, friendly, positive attitude, and good communication skills.
• Ability to answer phones, take special orders, and perform general housekeeping.
• Ability to operate knives, scales, wrappers, and other equipment safely.
• Stand for up to 8 hours, lift trays up to 5 lbs., and transfer items up to 40 lbs. as needed.
• Adhere to safety, health, and regulatory standards, and obtain a Food Handlers permit.
