Responsibilities

1. Assist the Bakery Manager in preparing, baking, packaging, pricing, and merchandising all baked goods.
2. Provide high-quality customer service and ensure bakery items are properly prepared, packaged, presented, and the area remains clean and sanitary.
3. Maintain cleanliness and safety of the bakery area and equipment, including cleaning shelves, floors, and removing debris.
4. Stock, fill, face, and ensure accurate pricing, while managing product rotation and discarding outdated items.
5. Inspect and log shipments for accuracy, temperature, and quality.
6. Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

1. At least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent; 1-2 years bakery experience preferred.
2. Dependable with a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
3. Outgoing, friendly, positive attitude, and good communication skills.
4. Ability to answer phones and take special orders.
5. Perform general housekeeping and sanitation duties.
6. Operate bakery equipment safely and accurately.
7. Stand for long periods and lift items up to 40 lbs as needed.
8. Adhere to safety, health, and regulatory standards, including obtaining a Food Handlers permit.
