7-Eleven, Inc. seeks a Senior Category Manager to lead strategic development and planning for an assigned category as part of a broader merchandising team.

You will ensure category plans align with the overall merchandising strategy and drive store-level execution to fit the total store perspective. The role focuses on sales and planning, pricing, promotions, vendor management, and cross-functional collaboration with marketing and operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• 5-7 years of relevant work experience.
• 2+ years of management experience.
• Understanding of financial methodology to determine costs and develop annual business plans.

Responsibilities

• Manages the product assortment for stores on a national basis for assigned category.
• Develops annual category plans including assortment, positioning, and promotions.
• Drill plans down into seasonal calendars and monthly implementation plans.
• Performs monthly analysis and explains variances in sales and gross profit.
• Develops pricing strategy and recommended retail pricing guidelines.
• Maintains relationships with national vendors and coordinates with logistics and procurement.
