BAKERY/CAKE DECORATOR (Finance)

Create an outstanding customer experience through exceptional service. Establish and maintain a safe and clean environment that encourages customers to return. Assist the department manager in reaching sales and profit goals and monitor all quality assurance standards. • Retail experience
• Bakery/cake decorating experience
• Ability to handle stressful situations
• Basic math knowledge
• Effective communication skills

• Second language proficiency (speaking, reading, or writing)
• Create a welcoming environment for customers by answering questions and making suggestions
• Maintain product knowledge and respond to customer inquiries
• Offer samples, prepare bakery items, including wedding cakes, using proper equipment
• Decorate bakery items such as cakes, pastries, cupcakes, and cookies
• Label, stock, sign, and inventory merchandise
• Report discrepancies and ensure product quality and freshness
• Use bakery equipment according to guidelines
• Maintain awareness of inventory and store layout
