Job summary

Panera Bread is seeking a General Manager to lead our bakery-cafe team and drive the guest experience. You will own all aspects of operations, staffing, coaching, and performance management to deliver Panera's trusted quality and warmth.

In this role you will hire, onboard, train, and energize the team, while maintaining costs and inventory, and upholding safety standards. Flexible hours including nights and weekends are required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of restaurant General Manager experience preferred.
• ServSafe certification (or ability to achieve).
• Background check required.
• Proven ability to drive positive results with strong business acumen.
• Flexible hours including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Lead bakery-cafe team, plan staffing, scheduling, staff development.
• Hire, onboard, train new team members and motivate the team.
• Manage performance to meet goals, quality standards, guest service.
• Develop managers on processes and Panera values.
• Ensure safety, health workplace, manage costs and inventory.
