Panera Bread is seeking an Assistant General Manager to lead an amazing team in a beloved bakery-cafe, partnering with the General Manager to oversee operations, guest service, and business growth. You will own hiring, training, and development at your location while ensuring standards are met and guests leave delighted.

In this fast-paced role, you’ll mentor staff, manage scheduling, and drive performance with a focus on quality, service, and culture.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of restaurant management experience preferred.
• ServSafe certification (or ability to achieve).
• Proven ability to drive positive results through strong business acumen.

Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire the bakery-cafe team to deliver exceptional guest experience.
• Partner with the General Manager on operations, staffing, and costs.
• Oversee hiring, onboarding, and training of new team members.
• Manage inventory and costs to meet goals and standards.
• Develop managers on processes and Panera’s guiding values and behaviors.
• Ensure safety and quality standards are maintained in daily operations.
