BAKERY/BAKER (Finance)

Assist the department manager in reaching sales and profit goals established for the department, and monitor all established quality assurance standards. Key Responsibilities:

• Promote trust and respect among associates.

• Gain and maintain knowledge of products sold within the department and respond to customer inquiries.
• Prepare bakery items per customer requests using proper bakery equipment.
• Offer product samples and inform customers of bakery specials.
• Provide customers with ordered products, ensuring freshness and correct portions.
• Recommend bakery items to customers to meet their needs.
• Use bakery equipment according to company guidelines.
• Prepare foods following temperature logs and cooking instructions.
• Measure, prepare, and mix ingredients as per recipes.
• Label, stock, and inventory ingredients and merchandise.
• Check product quality and review "sell by" dates.
• Use kitchen equipment properly and safely.
• Maintain inventory and report discrepancies.
• Adhere to food safety regulations and maintain proper temperature logs.
• Follow safety procedures, inspect equipment, and report unsafe conditions.
• Report customer or employee accidents, safety risks, or illegal activities.
• Perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.

Salary Range: $15.25 - $16.75
