Job summary

Nothing Bundt Cakes Murfreesboro is seeking part-time Joy Creators (Front of House Associates) to greet guests, assist with orders, and maintain a welcoming bakery environment. You’ll help guests choose the right cake for celebrations and ensure orders go smoothly, with a friendly, service-first attitude.

Part-time schedules range 15-30 hours per week, with morning, midday, and evening shifts. The role offers flexible hours and opportunities to grow within a casual, welcoming team culture.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Greet walk-in and phone guests warmly and assist with needs.
• Maintain product knowledge to explain cake options, pricing and promotions.
• Suggest additional merchandise to complete celebrations.
• Process orders efficiently using the point-of-sale system.
• Encourage guests to join NbC Email Club for promotions.
• Keep bakery clean and organized, including counters and display cases.
• Restock merchandise and cake displays for strong visuals.
• Assist the Crafter with cake decorations and packaging as needed.
• Adhere to health, safety, dress code and NbC policies.
• Maintain reliable attendance and punctuality.

Nothing Bundt Cakes Murfreesboro is currently hiring part-time Joy Creators (Front of House Associates)!

You’ll get to play party planner by helping guests order the right cake for their celebrations and making sure their orders go off without a hitch. Applicants must be 16 years of age or older.

Part-time Joy Creators will be scheduled 15-30 hours per week Monday-Sunday.

Must have the flexibility to work two or more morning, midday, or evening shifts. Shift times may vary but typically the hours are morning (8:30am-2pm), midday (10am-4pm or 11am-5pm), evening (2:30pm-7pm) or (3pm-7pm).

Bakery hours are Monday-Saturday: 9am-7pm, Sunday: 10am-4pm.

Job Responsibilities:

• Promptly greet walk-in and phone guests with genuine warmth and helpful enthusiasm to determine interests and needs and follows NbC Sweet Steps of Service to create a superior guest experience.
• Maintain strong product knowledge to educate guests on NbC cake distinction, size and flavor profile options, pricing, special promotions and complementary retail merchandise.
• Suggest additional merchandise, including balloons, candles and cards, to complete unique celebration.
• Process guest orders efficiently and accurately utilizing point-of-sale system and invite guests to join NbC Email Club to benefit from special promotions and remain connected.
• Uphold a clean and organized bakery presentation, which may include routine sweeping/mopping of the floor, and dusting/cleaning of countertops, windows and other surfaces.
• Restock retail merchandise and cake display case to ensure a strong visual presentation.
• Assist the Crafter in preparing cake decorations and packaging supplies as needed.
• Comply with all health and safety guidelines and NbC policies and procedures, including strict adherence to dress code and personal hygiene.
• Maintain a consistent work attendance and punctuality record.
