Job summary

Nothing Bundt Cakes is seeking a Joy Creator to warmly welcome guests, assist with telephone orders, and help craft delightful cake experiences. You will upsell add-ons, maintain an attractive retail area, and ensure smooth operations at the front counter.

In this role you’ll help guests select the perfect cake for their celebrations, collect emails, and stay informed about current prices and promotions while delivering friendly, efficient service.

Responsibilities

• Greet walk-in guests and introduce them to bakery products.
• Suggest creative add-ons and retail options to enhance orders.
• Assist guests with phone orders and balance the POS accurately.
• Collect customer emails and share knowledge of current prices, products, and promotions.
• Keep the retail area clean, neatly merchandised, and presentable throughout the day.
• Carry out duties assigned by crafting and other departments as needed.

You’ll get to play party planner by helping guests order the right cake for their celebrations and making sure their orders go off without a hitch. JOB POSITION

The Joy Creator creates a warm and welcoming environment in which to serve the Nothing Bundt Cakes guests both in person and by telephone. The JC does side work duties for the Crafting Department, some light cleaning and clerical duties.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Introduce walk-in guests to the bakery and products using a Guest Tour


• Suggest creative solutions to guests with walk-in orders


• Suggest the purchase of add-ons and retail to make the product a complete experience


• Assist phone-in guests with their orders


• Operate and balance the POS with accuracy and efficiency


• Collect email addresses from guests


• Have current and complete knowledge of current prices, products and promotions


• Keep retail area clean, swept and neatly merchandised throughout the day


• Dust all retail surfaces at least twice per week, including counter tops and POS stations.


• Carry out the duties the crafter & other departments assigns from time to time
