Job summary

Nothing Bundt Cakes #34 in Murfreesboro, TN is seeking a Part-time Joy Creator to greet guests warmly, share product knowledge, and help guests place orders.

Shifts are 15–30 hours weekly with mornings, middays or evenings; bakery hours are Mon–Sat 9am–7pm and Sun 10am–4pm. You’ll uphold cleanliness, assist with decorations, and promote NbC merchandise.

Work Hours & Scheduling

Part‑time Joy Creators will be scheduled 15–30 hours per week Monday–Sunday. Must have the flexibility to work two or more morning, midday, or evening shifts. Shifts may vary but typically are morning (8:30 am–2 pm), midday (10 am–4 pm or 11 am–5 pm), evening (2:30 pm–7 pm) or (3 pm–7 pm). Bakery hours are Monday–Saturday: 9 am–7 pm; Sunday: 10 am–4 pm.

Job Responsibilities

• Promptly greet walk‑in and phone guests with genuine warmth and helpful enthusiasm; follow NbC Sweet Steps of Service to create a superior guest experience.
• Maintain strong product knowledge to educate guests on NbC cake distinction, size and flavor profile options, pricing, special promotions and complementary retail merchandise.
• Suggest additional merchandise, including balloons, candles and cards, to complete a unique celebration.
• Process guest orders efficiently and accurately utilizing the point‑of‑sale system; invite guests to join the NbC Email Club for special promotions.
• Uphold a clean and organized bakery presentation, including routine sweeping/mopping of the floor and dusting/cleaning of countertops, windows and other surfaces.
• Restock retail merchandise and cake display case to ensure a strong visual presentation.
• Assist the Crafter in preparing cake decorations and packaging supplies as needed.
• Comply with all health and safety guidelines and NbC policies and procedures, including strict adherence to dress code and personal hygiene.
• Maintain a consistent work attendance and punctuality record.
