Adams Fairacre Farms, Inc. in New York is seeking a friendly Bakery Associate to deliver high‑quality service while maintaining freshness and presentation of baked goods, and to support daily bakery operations with care and attention to detail.

You will greet customers, assist with packaging, rotate stock, help with basic baking tasks, and keep the bakery clean, safe, and well organized. 18+ and able to lift up to 50 pounds required; training provided; Employee Discount included.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, helpful service while asking questions or taking orders to all customers in person and over the phone
• Greet and thank customers to create a welcoming shopping experience
• Assist with packaging and displaying fresh baked goods, ensuring quality and presentation
• Stay informed about bakery products, pricing, and current promotions
• Rotate and stock products to maintain freshness and keep displays full and organized
• Help with basic baking tasks like setting up cookies, muffins, or making donuts
• Maintain cleanliness of all bakery areas, including dishes, equipment, and display cases
• Support bakers and decorators as needed, including receiving deliveries and preparing items for sale
• If assigned; write on cakes, finish cakes and donuts for display.
• If assigned; make apple cider donuts.
• Assist Bakers/Decorators/Porter as needed throughout your shift
