Job summary

Whole Foods Market in Annapolis, MD is seeking team members to support the Bakery department by receiving and preparing product, stocking displays, and providing excellent customer service. You will help with breaking down deliveries, maintaining cleanliness, and assisting with sampling programs and inventories.

Qualifications

• No prior retail experience required.
• Ability to learn basic knowledge of all products carried in the department.

Responsibilities

• Maintain fresh, appealing displays by front-facing, stocking, and rotating products.
• Stock shelves and display areas; keep cases clean and organized.
• Monitor spoilage and communicate waste to buyers and supervisors.
• Assist with sampling programs and periodic inventory checks.
• Ensure accurate signs and pricing; open, mid, and close duties as assigned.
• Provide excellent customer service and use suggestive selling.
• Follow health and sanitation standards and maintain equipment.
