Sam's West, Inc. is seeking a Bakery/Packager Team Member in Mooresville, NC. You will prepare bakery items, wrap and label merchandise, and assist members with orders while maintaining a clean, organized area.

You’ll balance multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing member satisfaction and accuracy. The role involves following recipes, operating bakery equipment, and using handheld tools to support sales and quality.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Ability to stand for long periods while assisting members

Responsibilities

• Be a Team Member: Collaborates with other associates to build a strong bakery team; communicates with team members and adapts to business needs.
• Be an Expert: Prepares bakery items per daily production, follows recipes, wraps/labels/stores merchandise, and ensures food safety and proper inventory handling.
• Be a Techie: Uses handheld devices to support sales and customer service, and adapts to new digital tools.
• Be an Owner: Maintains clean, compliant work areas and ensures proper packaging, labeling and date control of bakery items.
