Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club in Portsmouth, NH is hiring a Bakery Team Member to support daily bakery operations. You will proofs and bakes unfinished goods, follow production charts, and maintain safety and cleanliness in the bakery.

Join a team that emphasizes teamwork, fast service, and quality. Prior bakery or customer service experience and being at least 18 are preferred; starting pay is $16.75 per hour.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a bakery or customer service oriented environment preferred.
• Knowledge of bakery products preferred.
• At least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Proofs and bakes all unfinished bakery goods following product handling information.
• Unpacks bakery goods from the freezer and displays based on production chart recommendations.
• Maintains cleaning and safety standards in the bakery department.
• Generates labels and price tickets and ensures items are accurately priced.
• Cleans and sanitizes equipment and surfaces; supports overall club standards.
